10 September 2013 - Arriving at Manchester

Dah lama betul tak update blog. Sibuk nak menguruskan hal Tajaan dan Visa. Kebetulan musim raya pulak. Raya sakan la kutip duit raya. Alasan untuk dapat duit raya ialah, nak sambung belajar. Hehe.


Pada 10 September 2013, alhamdulillah aku dan rakanku selamat sampai di Manchester dengan menaiki pesawat Etihad (Kuala Lumpur - Abu Dhabi - Manchester). Kami bertolak seminggu awal supaya senang untuk menguruskan hal rumah sewa dan pendaftaran Universiti.

Ni baru 1 bag. Ada lagi 1 bag kecik tapi tak masuk dalam gmbar. Memang 30kg cukup2 lah.

Ini lah Universiti yang saya apply. Akhirnya, tercapai jugak impian nak belajar oversea dan The University of Manchester menjadi pilihan.

Nak tengok tak rumah sewa kami? Kami sewa rumah ni bertiga. Ada 3 bilik. Sewa 1 rumah = £800. So, pandai-pandai lah bahagi. So far, puas hati jugak la. Cuma biasalah, awal-awal masuk rumah mesti ada kekurangan sikit-sikit, tapi nasib baik agent yang menguruskan rumah kami boleh betulkan apa yang tak cukup/tak elok.

    hai nadia. saya nak tanya awak ada any contact tak malaysian student yang ambik masters in law (LLM) kat manchester uni? saya ada few questions to ask before i try to make an application sebab saya tengok the latest ranking for social science, man uni takde dlm list. so i was a bit confuse to the fact that is it poss for me to apply LLM in that uni.

      Hi Naim!

      So far tak jumpe lagi malaysian yang amik law kat sini maybe due to the fact as you mentioned before, not in the top uni.

      Tpi kalau Naim nak apply kat sini jugak, takde masalah. Cuma nanti nak cari sponsor la coz sponsor nak top uni je. In fact ada a few yang sponsor mintak tukar Uni. Unless Naim self-sponsored, then there should be no problem.

      I can give you my email, but is there anything else that you would want to know? Because I know no one (I mean, Malaysian) doing masters in Law here..

    And alhamdulillah, I have double checked and found out that MU is listed under 100 unis for social science courses!

    So, i really really need for your help and confirmation (tho everything is stated there at the entry requirements) but just wanna make sure with u as u is now there...what are the documents should i upload and prepare before make the application? do we need to upload for Visa, or mere passport. and for personal statement, how many pages u wrote? i mean what to write about? is it on why we chose UK or specifically on why we choose MU as a place to study? or.. about the course we are applying for and our background a bit? I have been looking to the samples tru internet (of course) and again, i am confuse. @_@

    and about the referee form, did you get your referees fill up the form or they just prepare you official recommendation letters?

    It's a great pleasure if you could help me a bit here?

      Hi Naim,

      I'm sorry for the late reply as I'm busy completing all the assignments and group projects.

      As for personal statement, think 1 page is just sufficient. You just need to make your personal statement be "personal". Meaning, make your own words to describe yourself. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and be precise not repetitious in your essay.

      Things to write in your essay - by this time, you are supposed to have few uni in your mind, Then, visit their websites and check their requirement for the personal statement because some Uni, they want additional info from us.

    Hye Kak Nadia. Insyaallah sy akan ke University of Manchester this coming September. Sy nk tya berkenaan rumah sewa akak tu. Mcm mana akak cari rumah sewa tu? Sy tgah kalot jgak ni sbb nk apply visa diorg ada mintak alamat rumah kat sana kan? wuuu thanks in advance. Hope akak baca comment ni walaupun dh lama hehe

    Assalamualaikum sy nak tny sikit,, sy dah submit application to uni of manchester, skrg terima email utk sya complete kan documents dekat to do list tu.. Ni sy quote email tu...

    Once you have activated your University IT account, please log in to Self Service and check your 'Student To Do List' for details of any further documents which we need from you before we can reach a decision on your application. You should send any documents directly to your academic department.

    So sy perlu upload documents(Passport,degree cert,cv) tu dlu baru dorang akan bagi results ke mcm mna ye sbb mcm passport mmg sy takde lg skrg.. :(

Cara-cara Untuk Sambung Belajar (Master) di Luar Negara

Sebenarnya tidak lah susah.. Tapi for those yang tak tau caranya mungkin akan fikir yang benda ni leceh just like me. ;-)  Berkat semangat yang my aunty bagi, I decided to try. Mimpi Ular & Tafsirannya

Hari ini aku nak cerita pasal mimpi berkenaan dengan ular sebab aku selalu sangat mimpi pasal ular. Dengar perkataan 'Ular' tu pun naik bulu tengkuk aku. Tengok...geli tak? Antara mimpi yang aku ingat berkenaan dengan ular ialah, Mimpi anak ular berlonggok berlambak-lambak macam gambar kat atas ni (time ni aku sekolah menengah) Mimpi ada ular yang asyik ikut aku pergi ke mana-mana sahaja. Tapi ular ni tak buat pape kat aku. Cuma aku je la yang berlari jauhkan diri. Time tu aku rasa macam real betul. Mimpi hampir dipatuk dengan ular. Takut gile aku time tu. Besar kot kepala ular tu Mimpi dikejar dan digit oleh anak ular yang banyak. Ada la dalam 4-5 ekor yang dapat gigit tangan aku sampai bengkak-bengkak. (Mimpi ni terjadi baru-baru ini) Tengok..sampai aku boleh senaraikan lagi. Aku pun penah bermimpi pasal singa. Tapi yang tu takde jadi pape pun. Cuma ular ni je yang menakutkan dan menggelikan aku. Nak kata aku terfikir pasal ular sebelum tido, takde la pun.
